DAILY ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS:
  1. Watch the following video that explains the ULAT's use of "symbolic directions" and how to study a ULAT lesson:

  2. After watching the video above, return to lesson 1.1 by clicking HERE to return to the ULAT home page. Then click on "CONTENTS", then on the flag of the language you are studying, followed by the link to the first unit and then finally on the green button taking you to the first lesson. Look again at the symbolic directions and read the explanation below each one as to what instruction to the student that they represent.

  3. Finally, go to lessons 1.2 and 1.3 and try to determine what activity the symbolic directions are telling you to do in each of those lessons' sections. Do not try to do the activities themselves at this point, as you will do that in your next class.
