- Click HERE to go to lesson 3.14. In essence, lesson 3.14 can serve as a final exam (or as a celebration of all that you have learned this year!). It involves all three of the four skills we have developed this year listening, speaking and reading. Here are the activities that you can do so as to be tested by someone (or to "show off").
a) In the first section click on the picture of the man and listen to the description of his life.
b) In the second section, answer aloud the questions about the man that you see written there. This allows you to demonstrate both your listening and reading comprehension.
c) Using the pictures in the third section, give a 10-minute self-presentation. (Yes, I'm serious. You should be able to do it.) For clarity's sake, the last three lines of images deal with general topics you have studied and can express: your daily routine, the resolution of some personal problem and a description of your appearance, feelings, health, clothing and what you are doing at this very moment (i.e., having fun).
